'Immigration Deadline' for FBI request? (USA)

I just checked if my FBI Background Check request had reached West Virginia yet, and it had been delivered to their office yesterday.

When I mailed it off, I was unable to find the 'cover letter' people were telling me to use in order to tell them that I had a 'deadline', but instead wrote 'Immigration Deadline: July 10th, 2012' in the 'Reason for Request' box as well as in the right hand corner of the page and the envelope I sent it in. Will this work? Has anyone else submitted a request with an Immigration Deadline?

Oh, I might also need to add that I don't actually have an 'immigration deadline'. I just need the documents by a certain date for my own reasons.

Sorry, I don't have any answers for you, but let us know how long it takes for you to receive your FBI check. My husband is sending his off now and I have my fingers crossed it will be returned quicker than the estimated processing times.

It takes 8 weeks at least.

These are all people who didn't provide an immigration deadline, correct?

I wasn't asking how long it took normally, I was asking if those of you who provided an immigration deadline received it on time.

It doesn't matter. They don't rush. They say so on their website.

There was someone on another thread, "Please post your FBI request times" who stated s/he received it back after 3.5 weeks (as of May 18, 2012) after enclosing a note requesting that they expedite it. But YMMV.
