Hi,
This is Ravi from India. I was told that I need to have minimum 2 yrs of experience in any field whether IT or Non-IT by an immigration consultant agent and also to get good score like 7 or 8 in IELTS general to make the visa process easy. I don't have experience of 2 yrs in one particular field but I have more than 2 yrs of experience in different fields. Lets say I will complete my 2 yrs in my present company and get good scores in IELTS. Though I know IELTS scores has nothing to do with a job in Canada. How can I believe a consultant who will help me in getting a job in Canada by sitting in India. If so, what kind of jobs I would get ? Even if they show me that I got a offer, how can I validate it ?

Canada's official languages are English and French so hence IELTS is mandatory for Canada. You need to score CLB 9 to stand a good chance.

For express entry, as long as you can prove you have a total of 3 years work experience(through work experience reference letters) it won't matter whether you have less than 2 years in IT field. Some PNPs just require 1 year proof.

I worked for 10 months in software and left the job and now I have experience into Non-IT. So will it come under " Professional jobs (skill level A) " ?

If the total number of experience comes to 3 years then its good and you can mention your Non-IT experience as your primary noc..

No.
Your immigration consultant isn't giving you the right information.
The minimum requirement is 1 year (or part time equivalent) of continuous paid work in ONE NOC. Doesn't matter if it's IT or Non-IT, as long as it's in category 0 or A or B. If you have that, you're good.

Having good IELTS score won't make visa process any easier. It's just a language assessement. If you have good language scores, you'll have more CRS points.

If you get a job offer, you need to support with a LMIA. If future employer doesn't give you LMIA, you can't claim points for job offer, and would have zero value to your application. If anything, it would probably delay it. That being said, I wouldn't trust a consultant who pretends he can get you a job in Canada half way across the world, it truly sounds shady!

Non-IT doesn't mean it's going to be Category A! Check your NOC depending on your specific duties, and then deduce what category it is.

  • doctors
  • dentists
  • architects

I am finding it difficult in identifying my NOC code. If I understood the "Skill Level A message above" correctly, does it mean that I need to be in a job that requires to have a degree from a university ? I have my bachelor's degree from an engineering college affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. I worked as an engineer for few months before but not anymore now as am in Non-technical. Can anyone help me find out my NOC code ?

Engineer is too broad.
Non-technical is even broader...

What is your job title? What are your duties?

I work as a scorer level 2(designation) where most of my work includes:

-> I proof-read essays (on a computer screen, it is a software tool) written by Japanese students. Based on what they write, I give vocabulary, grammar and organization scores according to the materials given to us by clients.

-> And if I found any errors in grammar, I would correct them and show them the right way

-> Besides this, we have two more projects like SAT n MAP, it is like checking whether the student wrote a correct answer to a question or not. Just like mapping. If a student makes any grammar errors , we deduct their marks.

So you're an English teacher/exam corrector/instructor?

Yes but not physically present in a class teaching to students.

1) No
2) Yes it's true. But only if the job is supported by a LMIA proof.
3) I wouldn't believe anyone who tells you they can find you a job from outside Canada. They'd say so just to get to your wallet.
