Dear All,

I want to process for Canada Immigration for Federal Skilled Worker, but have Confusions.

Is this Enough to Apply:

29 Years Old
Master Degree in CS
Total 4 Years Of Experience is Network Administrator/ Computer Engineer
English Speaking/Listening/Reading is Very Good.

Spouse:
31 Year Old
No Work Experience
education is Intermediate
English is Fair

What are the Requirements for Applying?
Is the Profession (Network Admin/Computer Engineer) is there in the list?
IELTS is must before Applying?

NOC 2174 and NOC 2147 are both on the list. However both of these NOC have most likely reached their cap by now since CIC is only accepting 300 applications for each (in fact, they both likely reached their cap some time ago). You can certainly still apply - however I think you'll receive your application back unprocessed since the cap has been reached. If you still want to apply even thought the cap has been reached, you'll need a job offer in Canada.

Thanks for Help.

if the Cap is full then I think no Chances.

What is the Procedure to Check that How many people applied for Specific Profession?

Should i Wait for Next Year Announcements?

There is no way to check how many people have submitted applications. The numbers on the CIC site are over a month behind.

There is also no way of telling what occupations and rules will be announced next years. But you can certainly wait and see.

So if i send the Request and there are no more positions left, then they will refund the Fee?

Yes.

Scylla,
the process this year is very different , what date do you expect 2174 to get filled ,
as per the spreadsheet , still 24th May applicants are also getting charged for the CC info they provided in the application
and so far CIC reported 29th July 120 slots got filled ,
was this year so easy compared to last and last year and when Programmer were not included!!
( although I feel from August onwards chances are almost impossible because our spreadsheet itself have data for 180 people ) ??
How

It means need to wait for next Year.

But what are the chances that Same professions will be for Next Year?

You have a great chance that the same occupation/profession that you are applying will still be offered next year.
As per my observation, it takes around three (3) years or more before they change the NOC list for FSW.
Moreover, NOC List for FSW is depending on the economic situation and job demand in Canada.
So might as well prepare you application package early next year, it is also advisable to take your IELTS (forms part of application package) next year before submission of the application package due to expiration issues (2 years expiration).

Good Luck :) :) :)
