This 12K as proof of funds, is only the statement or money should be with us while landing in Canada?
The officially figure is 11,115 CD. For initial application, it could be bank statements, property evaluation etc. Upon landing, officers would like to see you funds (from most pple experience). Not mandatory to carry all that cash though (not wise either) , u cld have part cash, part draft etc. If u carry more than 10k, it needs to be declared. Hey no more questions :P
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp (POF) Master Qorax also captures this neatly in his thread:

I will urge you to do ur own research to make an informed decision........Mandie

hay, Thank you mandie , your the great !

Actually, You people provide here the summarized information that we can't get in websites. There will be more questions from my side. ;D

I made assessment that i am eligible for Quebec Immigration Program , So is there drawbacks in the provincial Programs, so that many people apply for the Federal Program?

I have to wait for being eligible for the Federal program or Quebec scheme is good to carry on with?

Regards,
