I'm grateful that Canada are pro immigration, and unlike the UK and a chunk of USA, don't see immigrants as bad people or a drain on society.

Don't go to rural prairies then. Canada is highly divided in this part of dicussion

Fingers crossed that they are conducive to everyone being able to immigrate :)

this is true, but in a democracy (despite horrible voting system) they can lost power to other parties just as easy as they gained it when the public opinion swings

Damn it I was trying to say I was grateful that Canada is so awesome! :P

You have an interesting signature.

"Anyone gained PR by Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) may reside anywhere they want in Canada, not only the nominated province. Any restriction to residency is unconstitutional. Charter of Rights and Freedoms Sec. 6 (2)"

While i agree to an extent, if you go in with the intent of NOT residing in the province that gave you PNP, then it's within their right to revoke their nomination of you.

As it should be. Even if you didn't go with the intent of jumping ship to a different province, it should be also understood that they can reserve the right to pull your nomination if you don't make a VALID effort at job hunting in the province of sponsorship. If you leave after a few weeks or even 2 months, then you didn't give it an honest effort.

waiting to see how EE is going to work in 2017. Hopefully it would be faster and allow more opportunities for people with no canadian Experience and provide those additional points to the international graduates, francophones and siblings.

It would be great also if they could fix the job bank and allow companies to hire people already with an EE profile. But maybe that would be asking too much ;D

At the moment I HAVE Canadian experience, but it hasn't benefitted me at all.

That s sad to hear or read. Hopefully they will do something about it by next year

I second that. Job bank's effectiveness is near to zero!
