I have applied for PR with Express Entry and PR via PNP( paper based) both.

Details of Express entry case :

My express entry profile expired in November 2017 due

to expiry of my IELTS ( as the result of this language test is valid for 2 years only )

I gave the exam again on 2nd December 2017 and created a New EE profile in January 2018 and have attached my new IELTS result with it.

Details of my PR via PNP ( Paper Based ) :

On the other hand , the province gave me the nomination in 2017 and Ive submitted all the documents and as per the CIC website they have received my PR case via PNP in June 2017.But as far as I’ve understood the scenario of PR via PNP , it’s a long process and might take another few months .

To cut the story short Express entry gives the result fast, to increase the CRS or overall score I'm in need of nomination from the province . I wrote a email to province to issue me the nomination again for which they refused saying , we have already issued you nomination for PROV/ TERR.STREAM ( skilled worker overseas ) once and we won't do it again. My CRS isn’t any good for EE profile if I don’t attach the nomination.

Please let me know what should I do ?

My questions are :

1) Should I withdraw my newly created EE profile and just wait for the result of PR via PNP case.

2) Or should I continue with both the cases.

3) Do you think the federal guys will be confused by seeing two cases for one applicant?

Whats your CRS score? PNP paper is now 18 months wait time. If you are sure to get ITA in the next EE round, then its faster to go with EE

You need to declare you have applied in other immigration class, but that's not a problem by itself

You cannot have 2 applications at the same time (one paper based and one EE).
You can have EE profile as such and you can even receive ITA on it. Just if you want to apply with EE, you should withdraw your previous application. (since your profile is not binding until you send out your application).

Now, because of the new system, the only paper based application for PR (economic stream) are from PNP and the Atlantic program.
IF your application is already running since June, I do not think you will save time. (you are already 8 months in the process and EE application can take another 5-6 months).

You should be also able to connect your paper based application in your account and to see the progress of it there (I am not 100% sure about this, but using your UCI, you should be able to see it).

I would be patient and check up on your running application instead.

Not true, IRCC allows it and will automatically withdraw the first one that is approved:

There is however one combination which he cannot have.
He cannot have application for Quebec and EE application at the same time. As they are exclusive.

Also when sending EE application he should not indicate intended province to be different from his current province as that may jeopardize his PNP application.

Thank you gentlemen for replying. Every word and every sentence is much appreciated. I had a word with a lawyer too and he suggested me not to do anything anymore . He wants me to just wait for the result. Two applications may confuse my case.
