As the title says.

I am from the UK, and if we travel within Europe we don't get stamped. I did a whole bunch of travelling on a work contract during a 6 week period and cannot recall the details whatsoever.

Detailing travel info for modern people that travel MINIMUM once a year is incredibly difficult!

If there is nothing stamped in my passport, can I just miss this part out?

If, as you state, you are applying to the London visa office you do not need to list your travels. That requirement only applies to applicants to the Paris visa office: see at the end of of Appendix A (the documents checklist)

I had a good look around the documentation (obviously not good enough) and I figured there was nothing I could do to escape it so I rolled my sleeves up, put on one of those mega-long music mixes on YouTube and just got to work sifting through my Facebook, digging up comments on photos, and old emails with exes, flight info on pay slips and all kinds of strange things.....and did it after 3 long hours in to the night.

And you tell me this! HA!

Will this be useful for anything else or have I wasted my time on this?

I feel so foolish! hahaha

In years to come you will be able to look at the list and admire your hard work!

That's exactly what I did. Also went through the pictures folder on my back-up hard drive and checked the date they were taken, etc. Even then there's no way I can provide accurate dates and I'm sure the form will be missing some trips within the EU (hell, I must have been to Greece 20 times in the past 10 years, sometimes just for a long weekend just because I could!). I've added an additional sheet explaining that omissions and errors are not intentional and explained why. There's only so much you can do!

It was also soul-enriching remembering all my travels, was it not for you, too? Humbling :)

Anyway - did you know you didn't need to do it as you're not applying through Paris? Or are you? Did you know this and sent it anyway?

I'm applying through Paris, yes.

As for the whole recollection experience ... humbling, it don't know for whom. For the visa officer dealing with the application, probably so. It's frustrating to look back on all those wonderful trips and then realise that I've been stuck in Canada for a while. Of course I've got my husband and that's a good reason to be stuck, but still. My main reason for re-submitting an outland application through Paris is that I/we can continue travelling and aren't trapped here.

Good luck with your application!

Ah good. So I am the only one that wasted his time, then!

I agree with you on the applying outland to not restrict our travels. We love to travel so it'd be a shame to be stuck in one country for 2 years (but what a beautiful country!!! just no sea beaches or all-inclusive resorts... ;))

Best of luck to you, too.

We needed to specify this list as we were applying from India, and we had gone to Europe for honeymoon. The way I did is to state the first entry point into Europe, and in bracket say "Entered Schengen Area" and then listed all the countries we went to, and at the last country said "Exited Schengen Area". I supported this with boarding passes and tickets, like how you did.
