Hey guys,

So what does the canadian government mean by asking:

Are you in conjugal relationship (with your spouse) if yes, provide the date you entered such relationship?

Is it being moved in together - like a shared household?

Thank you

This link http://immigrationcanada.pro/immigrate/conjugal-partners/ Spells it out pretty well.

"If you are not married but wish to immigrate with your partner, there are only two categories that might apply: common-law (which will be discussed in future) or conjugal partner.

What is a conjugal partner? The regulations aren’t helpful, as they define “conjugal partner” to mean “in relation to a sponsor, a foreign national residing outside Canada who is in a conjugal relationship with the sponsor and has been in that relationship for a period of at least one year.”

Essentially, a conjugal relationship is “marriage-like”, meaning that there must be a serious commitment to spend your life together in a monogamous relationship

Thank you, I think I get it now:

From what I understood a couple cannot be in a conjugal and a spousal relationship at the same time - so if we answer in question 6a that we are spouses, we skip 6c - which is "if you are in conjugal relationship, provide a date when you entered conjugal relationship" - right?

You need to do this application form on the computer. Depending what you put in for question 6 a), the form should automatically black out 6 b) and c) if it's not required, and won't let you type in anything.
