IMM1295 - Application for Open Work Permit Question

Hi Guys,

I am on a work permit in Canada working under NOC code B.
My wife is going to apply for her open work permit soon.

We were filling one of the forms - IMM1295 and there's a question which says "Have you every applied to enter Canada?".

Now the situation is that on May 6th, I applied for my PR (TR to PR pathway) and she was my dependent. She wasn't the main application and we haven't received any AOR yet.

So, should she put a "Yes" on that question, as she was a dependent or a "No" as we haven't received any AOR, application number or anything else and she wasn't even the main applicant.

Applying to TR - PR pathway is also considered as an application. I would recommend saying YES and explaining in the box
