Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Dear All,

I have a valid Canadian work permit and I am currently residing in Canada. This work permit has a Client ID. Can I put this Client ID as UCI number in IMM0008 application form?

Also, in Question 10 under "Personal Details", I have put in Canada as my Current Country of Residence and Worker as Status. My work permit is valid till Feb 26, 2015. My question is what should I put under the "To date"? Should I put the work permit expiry date or the current date?

As always, thank you very much for your help!

Thanks!

That's correct.

Yes, for Worker and other statuses that expire (unlike Permanent Resident for example) put the expiry date of your current document as the To date.

Why? What happened in 2012?

Edit 2: actually I'm not sure about this anymore so I'll leave it to others. This guide (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp) says to put "The dates (From – To) you have been living in your current country of residence." So that seems to mean 'from the date you first arrived', regardless of whether your status changed in the meantime. What do you think?
