i am applying outland but i am currently in canada visiting my husband. Should i use his address as the current mailing address? I have my residential address set as my address in the usa and i checked the box where it says "same as mailing address"

What do i do? this small little detail is very confusing

I read something like that before

If you use your sponsor's mailing address then you'd have to appoint your husband as a Representative and fill out the respective form.

Hope this helps

If you plan on staying in Canada during the process, don't use an American address. Use the Canadian address for both your residential and mailing address.

I am going to be going back and forth and I am applying Outland. Can I still use his address still?

Also, if I use his address in Canada while I am applying Outland and only staying with him at his parents, do I need to appoint him as my representative?

If you are going to be mostly in Canada, just use only the Canadian address.

If you list an American residential address and your partner's Canadian one for the mailing address, yes, you need to appoint him as your representative.

Okay thank you! Sorry for all of the questions, just want to be 100% sure! So I am going to apply outland and use his parents address where we will be staying as my mailing and residential address!

This won't cause any problems as an Outland applicant even if I travel home?

on form IMM5533 part a: question 4 should i select box 2 (living outside canada and applying outland) or box 3 (living inside canada and outland)?

as i am only visiting currently and going home on a monthy basis, i selected box two. I am just wondering, if i select box 2 saying i am currently living outside of canada, can i use my husbands parents canadian address where we will be living until may?

I am going to leave my application a lone unless someone suggests otherwise.

IMM5533 part a: question 4 I am going to select box number 2 (living outside of Canada) since I am only here for 6 months at a time from the USA.

I will put the Canadian address for the mailing and residential address.

Does everyone think this will be okay?

I am nervous that if I am in Canada and check box number 2 (imm5533 part a: question 4 to apply from outside Canada) that something might go wrong since I am in Canada.

How long are you spending in Canada vs. how long in the US?

I might spend a week at home every month or month and a half. I am going to be in Canada until Easter, so I will be in Canada at the time of submitting

Majority of the processing time will be spent in Canada.

I am wondering if I should check box number 3 (applying Outland from inside Canada) since I will be in Canada at the time I submit and for most of the processing time of my application.

If I am a visitor living in Canada and waiting while my app processes should I select box 3?

Yes, you should select box 3 and just use the Canadian address for everything in the app.
