IMM 5490 Q. 28 - confusing?

Hello,

I know this question has been asked before...but I'm still confused

Q. 28 - Are you currently living with your sponsor?

I'm not living with him, nor have we ever lived together (our visits have been 2 weeks at most).
So, my answer would be no...but then the question asks 'When did your sponsor return to Canada?'...
that is the part that confuses me...what do they mean by that?

Help!

They mean when did the last visit end and he/she returned to Canada.

Hi LV... I have the exact same answer that rjessome gave you, but I also wanted to say that we put the last date I had returned to Canada from my last visit and also just attached a piece of paper explaining what the date we listed represented, and that we visit but do not live together. I don't know if you have to do add the piece of paper, but it worked for us.
