IMM 1344 Who is the co-signer?

Hi there!

I am a permanent resident in Canada, trying to sponsor my spouse who lives in States. We don't have any kids yet. I found on the IMM 1344 question number 3- "Is there a co-signer on this application"?
I am not understanding who is the co-signer? Am I the co-signer? My spouse is not as he doesn't reside in Canada obviously. The only person left is me and am I the sponsor and the co-signer? That doesn't make any sense. Could anyone put light into it??

You are not the co signer. Only the sponsor.

Question number 3 under asks "Are you sponsoring a member of the family class or a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class?"
Do I answer Yes to this question? I don't understand whats Canada class.

Co-signer only applies for PGP sponsorship (parent/grandparent). The application form is also used in both spousal and PGP sponsorship.

Yes put yes and then it ask you whom are you sponsoring your clp or spouse within Canada or outside?
