IMM 00008 - Question 10 - Multiple status in Canada (student & worker)

Hi All,

I am Filling the IMM 0008 form for spousal sponsorship (i am the main applicant) and I have a question regarding Question 10. I have been in Canada since Dec 2019 as student but I got my work permit in Jan 2021 so I wanted to understand what should I write under status

I believe there is an "other" option, you should probably select other and explain that you've been a student since 2019 and a worker since 2021 (there is a limited amount you can type, so probably write it by hand if you're going to print it out)

Seems like listing your current status would be the way to go.

yes if you're not a student anymore then put your current status (sorry I'm not sure if you even can have multiple statuses at once)
