Oi, that's not the same argument. -.-' I am strictly talking about borders, for one, so please don't try to argue against it by fitting in an unrelated example.
Yeah, it's exactly the same argument. You're perfectly okay with a person breaking one set of laws to give him what he desires, but not okay with breaking another set of laws to do the same.

You are accusing them of robbing which is ironic seeing as the majority of European countries became so wealthy after "robbing" from the "less wealthy" (at least in their eye and now). To this day they still do. Johnny and his family have to survive one way or another just like anybody else and they do their best to do so. You say no family can compete with that but I beg to differ. "Johnny's" family could be composed of all adults to a mix of children and adults just like any other British family. The difference is everyone in Johnny's family is willing and/or must work to succeed. "Nothing in life comes easy," right? Of course the Brits could compete-- and some do try I'm sure (think opening up your own family-runned business for example), but most simply don't-- that's their fault.
I never thought I would agree with Tuyen but I do on this point.

Anyway's I said that no British family could compete with a household of 6-8 Migrants (Nowhere did I mention family). They were subsidised by our government, crammed in to a house any ALL 6-8 OF THEM WERE ADULTS (Is that hard to comprehend?) so 8 people paying rent and draining the country of it's economy and this was WIDESPREAD. I lived in the middle of it, I have a heavy involvement in the construction industry and it was rife. You would barely find an Englishman it was full of people who were cheaper because the government MANUFACTURED it this way. You could not compete UNLESS you were to join 4 families and cram yourself in to a shoebox. This is WHY immigration is controlled better I believe by the Canadians, is it perfect? No I dont think so but it is better than the U.S and British models that were ripped apart by people milking the cow.

As Tuyen rightfully said if you are so against Capitalism, go head over to Russia, Cuba, China or Venezuela. I am sure their borders are open and free. You can see how perfect your socialist ideas are!!

Why are you surprised?
It's entirely possible that in his mind, he actually believes he did nothing wrong. On the other hand, he might very well know that what he did was wrong, but he believes he can get away with it.

Help Req (Letter from Mississauga office)

Hi,
i send the letter to Mississauga Office about my new born baby a month ago, while my wife and baby in Pakistan. I already sponsored my wife in MAR 2011, now i want to update them about new baby.
Today i received a letter from Mississauga Office and they are asking new IMM1344 and IMM0008 forms, also they mention that include a Schedule A for the new dependent if applicable. with advised to submit processing fee $150.

My questions are
1) how i can find out about either i should send the Schedule A for the new baby. would you please let me know how i can find out.

2) i checked the official website of CIC but there is no form of (schedule A). would u please guide me where is the schedule A form.

3) when i send letter before for the update i submit the $75 fee and i send that receipt to Pakistan ( Canadian High Commission). so why they are asking $150 now.
thanks to all

I don't understand your question..

This form (Schedule A) is required for you and your wife only, so I assume you already included it with your application. Your baby doesn't need it because he/she is under 18 years of age.

The $75 you paid was the sponsorship application. Then you paid another $475 for your wife.
Each child under the age of 22 that is added to the application is $150.
There is also a fee of $490 to acquire the permanent resident status. Maybe you already paid this with your application, but if not, you will have to pay it before your wife gets her approval.

The world would be a better place if we didn't have all these stupid borders to begin with and we were all more self-sufficient.

Don't want to get all philosophical here or anything-- but it just bother me to hear things like "don't deserve to be here." I understand why, according to the laws of the country, they don't, but I don't think it's fair that a human, based on where they are born (which they can't choose), is so SOL if it happens to be in a location they don't know how and/or don't want to, strive in. Unfortunately they have to resort to all of these scams to get through all this bureaucratic bull*censored word* and get their loves ones to their desired environment; which in turn makes their, and everyone else's life more difficult.

doesn't it bother you that he used a poor lady's life and cheated his way through the system to get here? don't you feel bad for the lady that got used? I'm an immigrant to Canada myself and i would 100% support someone who needs help and someone who tries to have a safer better life for their family. but someone who uses another person in such cruel manner and has no regard to hurt that person just to cheat their way into the system and a country shouldn't be allowed to be here! a person like that would go to any length for a personal gain. (which he has proven)
anyone would look for a safer environment and better life for their family, but thats not the case here.
I think anyone that comes here as immigrant such as myself and everyone else including the Canadian citizens are responsible to make this country a better place for all of us and we all have to contribute!
again i'm not making decisions here but if I was a CIC officer I wouldn't accept it.
