The statement below has me quite confused as to wether or not I am eligable to re-enter Canada.
"The work permit will also include the words: "This does not authorize re-entry." This means that the permit allows you to work in Canada but does not act as a visa or passport to allow you to re-enter Canada. If you hold a Australian national passport, this provision does not affect you because you are visa-exempt. As long as you keep the Work permit stapled in your passport, you will be able to leave and re-enter Canada to resume work as long as your Work permit remains valid"
So does this mean, even though I have left Canada to return home to Australia that I am able to re-enter Canada if I hold a Australian passport? without having to re-apply for a new one?
I am also returning to work for the very same employer I was working for last year. And the work permit is a case type 20.
someone please help clear this up for I am in a state of panic. I'm almost due to go over to work for my employer but have no idea if I'll be able too.
Please and Thank you.
