My wife left Canada to the Ukraine in November 2014 and she didn't make very much (like 1,000 dollars for 2014.

We got married in the Ukraine on August of 2015.

Living in the Ukraine, she still didn't find work for 2015.......but she did get two GST checks in Canada....I think they were 68 + 68 = 136 dollars.

With that I have no idea how I'm going to file my taxes this year now that I'm married? Am I going to lose money or get back money?

How did she manage to get GST checks when she hasn't been in the country for over a year???

That's a good question. I was completely shocked why they would send her 2 GST checks, but I guess it had something to do with her making so little the year before?

You need to file your taxes just like you always would, as married. They will ask for your wife's global income. If she doesn't really have any income, it won't be a big issue for you.

I can't tell you what the odds of owing would be without getting into all of your personal income details, which I'm pretty sure neither of us want.

If you aren't sure about the global income part of it all, then get yourself a good tax accountant. They can usually handle all of it for you for a decent price.
