Hi all,
I have 20 years of experience at food additives production and marketing. I worked at purchasing, sales, production, import and export. I'm expert at thickeners and stabilisers. Allthough I'm not a food engineer, my technical knowledge would compete with them. I can create formulas in many food applications. I have bachelors degree in business administration.

I and my Ukranian wife plan to migarate to Canada. She already received her visa in 1 month, but now we are waiting for my visa fro about 4 months. If I obtain the visa, we will start planning.

I want to ask dear members of this forum: What is my chance to find food additive related job in Canada? Which location is better to live? How can I find food additive companies to ask for a job. Any clue/advices or comments where to start from will be very appreciated.

Where are you planning on moving to? That should be the focus of the job search (job bank, indeed). You honestly are going to have a hard time finding work in your field. Canada doesn’t have specific regions for food development. You will need to research Canadian food production facilities and find out about any career opportunities. Until you have work authorization and are in Canada for in-person interviews there may be no point in applying. You may want to consider making sure you have employment letters, ECA for degree and IELTS/TCF for language proficiency.
