I'm A Canadian Living In Dubai. Can I Submit My Spouse File Here In Abu Dhabi?

Hi,

I'm a Canadian citizen living in United Arab Emirates since last 3 years. Got married last year in 2014, I need to know if i can submit my spouse's immigration application here in Abu Dhabi. or do i have to send it to the address in Canada mentioned below ?

Or If i can submit it here in abu dhabi, what is the address and what would be the procedure?

Yes you can apply, but for sure they will ask you to provide solid evidence that you are planning to live with your spouse in Canada. The whole idea is to close the loophole where people not living in our country come to abuse our health care system
Why do you want to come to Canada anyway if you don't even live here ?

Yes you can apply

But you have to send the application to Mississage for processing
If its approved, it will be transferred to Abu Dhabi visa office for further processing and for final visa issuance
By the way, you have to provide proof that you are going to live in Canada with your spouse if the visa is issued

Canadian Citizen can apply for his/her spouse from outside Canada, there are two steps of processing you have to submit all the documents to cic Mississauga, they will check whether you are eligible for sponsor or not. after that your spouse file will be transferred to her home town visa office if she is Pakistani citizen her file will be transferred to London visa office very rear chance for Abu Dhabi visa office. But make sure for outside sponsor and spouse they have to show solid proof that you will move to Canada once your spouse got PR.

Thanks for all of your helpful guideline, so it means i can not directly send the application to abudhabi visa office will have to send the application to CIC in Mississauga ? can i request them to send the case to abudhabi instead of sending to london or somewhere else?

I also sponsored my sibling and parents in 2006, and they are all in Canada. what kinda form i have to add in the application set? they didn't apply for any benefits etc anyway... where do i stand and what should i do? also can some please tell me the names of the form i need to send, for me and my wife both.. i'm a little puzzled. please guide me..

can someone tell me how much fee i have to pay when sending the application?
there is credit card payment option but can i make a draft of that amount and send with application?

can i send the application direct to visa section in abudhabi or it should go to Mississauga, Canada? if yes, what is the address for those Canadians who are applying for their wives from outside Canada?

Your question regarding where to send the application has been repeatedly answered. You must send the application package to Mississauga.

Total application fees are $1040.
