Hello sir,
I am applying for immigration under one of the trade categories "skilled workers - federal" the ielts requirement says it needs General test scores " but I gave the academic test unfortunately. Is this still acceptable to cic ? Or i have to take the general Ielts test again ?

Yes..you will be required to provide GT scores.. academic module is not admissible.

it is admissible now.

yes it is acceptable now which has been officially mentioned in the manual on the 4th April 2010.
