IELTS to CLB mapping for EE

Hello everyone,

Until now, my understanding of CLB to IELTS mapping was based on ieltsessentials.com/clb/index.html.

I have the following IELTS score: writing 6.5; speaking 7.5; read: 8.5; listening: 8.5; according to the link above I thought I will fall under CLB 8 (all 4 combined).

But on the EE CRS calculator: expressentry.canadavisa.com/crs ; I see that we need to provide individual CLBs for each category.

Thus making it: CLB 8 for Writing
CLB 10 for Read and Listening
CLB 10 for speaking.


Request one of you to kindly clarify how would the CLB be calculated in this case.

Hi everyone, I have a similar query ,
I have the following scores in IELETS
R : 8 (CLB 10)
L : 8.5 (CLB 10)
W : 6.5 (CLB 8)
S : 7.5 ( CLB 10)

Does this mean according to the crs ranking my score would be (34*3+23 = 125)???
34 is for CLB 10 and above and 23 is for CLB 8.


Please help!!!

Writing:6.0
Reading: 6.5
Listening: 7.5
Speaking: 7.0

How much will I get for Ielts with following scores

Reading - 8.5
Writing - 8.5
Listening - 8.5

Some people are saying that I would get 136 and some are saying that I would get 116. Pls clarify

No date for re test is avalible before march 2015
