This is an option! I'll probably do it :) thanks!

The only thing is that results will be available online in 13 days but when I'll be receiving a original (I read it is a must when applying)?
actually, for IELTs result , you can pick it up by yourself too , it would be faster than any mail .

And the final option would be to wait and prepare for the IELTS and also obtain T4 and send all the document under EE.

Honestly guys, how bad can EE be? Is it worth doing everything in a rush? Is it so different that CEC?

If it is, I will do IELTS now and I think will probably be able to get more on reading and writing.

Thanks again!

For EE , you lost control right totally,

the terrible thing is : if you didn't get invitation, you never have chance to be PR .

they say their invitation based on your points you can get . but who knows, ( you can get high points, most of others in this forum can't as I have said before )

in short , EE, is an suspicious system.

e.g they even don't explain why you didn't get invitation.

so in the system if you get points 1100, but there are still possibile that are lots of pp who is 1200 ,

or they just get enough application they can handle. they have send out enough invitation. so any new application will be dropped at the end of one year.

anyway. for your situation, the new system is beneficial for you obviously. but are you dare to give up the chance of current CEC which maybe the last chance .

maybe EE is just totally failure system I mean make others failed system. as they want.

There is too many uncertainties regarding EE. Most of the senior here can share theirs and others' experiences regarding CEC. When EE starts, nobody really fully understand how it would go, other than the posted CIC information. It will take sometime until few people experienced the new system and understand it better.

With CEC, we know roughly the timelines for most of the milestones of the application, based on other information sharing and general statistics. Meanwhile, with EE, there is no full disclosure regarding your application process. You can have it in 6 months or even 2 years or even never...

Good luck! Read the essays carefully so you can get better score. Meanwhile, for the writing, good look for past topics and practice properly. During the exam, pace yourself...

The trick that worked really well during my test was - For Reading, ,make sure you read the questions first and then look at the passages. For listening, make sure you know the questions well before the recording starts playing. The few minutes you usually get before the recording starts are good enough to glance over the questions.

Good luck!

i agree.. i used the same method.. if u know what u need to look for during listening and reading sections then it becomes much easier..

Also most of the times, the questions are usually in order of the answers in the passage. So if you happen to find the answer to a question that comes after the one that you are looking for, it usually means you need to go back a little to find the answer to the question you are looking for.

+1 here. I used similar strategy here. Almost thought that I failed the listening, as I was not used to the British accent. So maybe if you are not familiar with that accent, you could go over some of those free tests...
