That is a NOC 0 job. You will need 6 across all four sections. Overall scores do not matter.

depends on your score in each band.. need 6 and above in each.

is there a way around this? maybe different noc(0124) matches marketing manager as well. or should I call ielts and complain?

reading result is difficult to appeal , writing maybe have a chance, but in vain , you need both,

yes, consider another NOC not O and A is a way to you. relax .

the thing is I am already Marketing manager as temporary workers for almost 4 years. is there many options to change noc?

do you on a closed work permit ? or else ?

and you work permit have LMO/LMIA or not ? your position is permanently or not ?

does your offer letter have job duties or not ?

your boss will cooperate with everything you want or not ?

sorry, bad news, firstly, if you try to change NOC which is different with your LMO, definitly rejected. so you have to give up CEC this year.


but, a fabulous good news is, because you have LMIA , EE system is designed for you. you have plenty of time to try pass IELTS .

if you are not confident with the IELTS , try to some courses who guarantee you can passed.



and EE is faster than current CEC , it only 6 months. you high points will make you get invitation,


and your boss need do something in that system too .

anyway, your situation is perfect for EE . and it would be quicker than CEC.

a dozens of pp will envy you. because lots of the have no permenant job with LMIA and a nice boss willing to help them.

Your test result should be ready for submittals on Dec 26th (13 days after exam date). Then, you can send your CEC application for 1 day express mail with tracking...

So what you need to do now:
1. Schedule earliest exam date
2. Prepare for the test, as well as CEC documents
3. Send the application, as soon as you obtained the IELTS result

Also check if you get CELPIP dates any time soon. Heard that you get the results much quicker than IELTS.

This is an option! I'll probably do it thanks!

The only thing is that results will be available online in 13 days but when I'll be receiving a original (I read it is a must when applying)?

And the final option would be to wait and prepare for the IELTS and also obtain T4 and send all the document under EE.

Honestly guys, how bad can EE be? Is it worth doing everything in a rush? Is it so different that CEC?

If it is, I will do IELTS now and I think will probably be able to get more on reading and writing.
