IELTS serial number post ITA

Hi there, today I finally sent my application and got AOR. There's one thing I'm worried about and don't know if it would be misrepresentation. I had a new IELTS test before ITA. Got a better mark and updated it on my EE Profile BUT forgot to change the serial number. Got an ITA. I checked every single section before submitting e-APR and noticed the mistake on serial number and changed it before submiting the application.

Should I call CIC? Should that be a reason of rejection? Would it be misrepresentation?

Yes. Send a CSE immediately.

What they will see is you trying to say you got higher scores than you did for the old test.

Send a CSE with a scan of your new ielts test score sheet and explain the mistake.

Even though the points were the same but not the serial number?

Ah, you didn't say that.

It might still be an issue though because the numbers were different. People fake certificate numbers and update them with real ones before submission. Send a CSE clearly outlining what happened and send them the new ielts certificate proving you got the new results BEFORE the ita was issued.

The newest IELTS certificate is the one I uploaded on my transcripts, plus transcripts of course. So just have to send an CSE telling them that I had two IELTS tests before ITA. Got ITA with results updated without changing the serial number. Sent the e-APR with the correct serial number plus the scanned document.
