IELTS Score for CEC - New Rule 2013

Hello Experts - I am applying for CEC in 2013 under new rule. I have seen IELTS requirement has been chnaged.
I got 6.5 in each skill and overall is also 6.5 .....

I think its matching with CLB = 7........

Is I am eligble for skill 0 , A ??

Listening - 6.5 band --- CLB 7
Reading - 6.5 band --- CLB 8
Writing - 6.5 band --- CLB 8
Speaking - 6.5 band --- CLB 8

I have a friend that need some verification about his ielts, he took the exam last month and got;

Listening-5.5
Reading-4.5
Writing-5.5
Speaking- 6.5

Is this good enough for CEC with NOC 8253 (SkilledB)? Because he got confused when he asked a immigration consultant, they tell him to retake IELTS.

Please give your advise.

Yes for NOC B Need 3 5s and a 4 in Reading.

Is it necessary to score 7.5 in Listening, 6.5 each in Reading, Writing and Speaking according to the new rules in CIC??

I am 31, Single, B-Tech + MBA, will complete 6 yrs of work exp coming 7th of May

Hope the above info is suffficient for you to evaluate my eligibility for the FSW programme.... kinldy help me out as to how much i fare against the min criteria of 67 points... Thnks

No, you don't meet the minimum language, 6 in each module.

@Canxyz: are you sure about your info?
I am on the language requirement website on CIC which clearly says that in order to be a CLB 7 you need to have 6 in each respective modules and the site was updated/modified on 2013-01-08, which is this year so I am sure this information is pretty up to date.

Could you please correct me if I am mistaken and quote your source.

1. Nope, 1112 is NOC level A for both CEC and Skilled worker you require CLB 7 which is IELTS 6 in each module so you don't qualify. Your spouse's is score is immaterial.
