Hi there,

The question according new rules of submitting the documents by Skilled Worker program.
I'm sumbitting an application as one out of 38 occupations list.

In the guide it's stated:

Category 1 (You are in an occupation which corresponds to the list of occupations identified in the Ministerial Instructions)

Send the following:
• the application forms,
• a photocopy of your passport’s bio-data page, (principal applicant only)
• 2 self-addressed mailing labels one in English or French and the second in the official language of your country, and
• the payment.
Note: Do not send other supporting documents. Wait until you receive correspondence from the CIU in Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada

But in Schedule 3. clause 6. Language (Cont.)
it's written: if Yes,
Provide a copy of approved test results

So, should I or should not include IELTS results when sending application to Sydney, Canada?

i would like an experienced person like BC, Leon or PMM to answer this question. I haven't seen the new form yet. If it says Yes, you should send a copy. If they don't need it, they might discard it. By no means you will be penalized for this.

If you are applying under category 1 you need to submit the result later when it reach to the stage of further cconsideration by CIC office, but if you apply under another category may be you need to submit the result from the beginning.

By the way, anyone has a letter from his/her employer, I need to know the format of the letter.

Cheers

I did not take the IELTS yet. But I am planning to do on the 21st Feb 2009.

My questions:

On Schedule 3 there are questions 5 and 6.

1. If I write yes in all boxes but can not prove the IELTS score yet I will be questioned. If I say no, my application might be rejected or not?

2. If I say no to question 6 do I have still 4 months to get the IELTS or not?

My job is in the 38 occupations and I do not want to miss the opportunity. So I have to be quick but smart as well.

I will have the test on the 21st and even I fail I can take it as many as times as I wish.

What do you suggest me to do?

Thanks,

Kagan

Category 1? Do not send IELTS results now! It is clearly stated in the instructions. You will leter be asked to do so if your case is recommended for further assessment.

Good luck
