IELTS result to CIC - Photocopy or Official Copy from IELTS?

Hello Everyone

Thanks to everyone for actively helping out here. I received my PNP Certificate from Ontario Immigration couple of months back. Now while applying to CIC, in the Checklist document (IMM5690E),its mentioned to submit Copy of IELTS General Results. I don't understand that by Copy they mean Photocopy or an actual Copy of results sent by IELTS?

Most of my friends previously have submitted the original copy received from IELTS but I already used that for sending to Ontario Immigration for PNP application. I know I can order the second one just to be safe but I don't have much time left for submission. Also I feel that rules might have recently changed. I remember reading somewhere or a thread that earlier they required original.

Can please someone clarify? I'll be really thankful to you for the same.

Hi! IELTS school gives you 2 copies..1 original and the other 1 is the copy....You keep the original and send them the copy that they gave you. Thats what i did.

Thanks for your quick reply. I only received one copy when I was applying for PNP certificate. They've mentioned on the website that by default everyone receives one copy and then one can request for an additional copy. Ontario Immigration dept also asked for IELTS result when I was submitting the application for requesting nomination. So I sent them that one. Now CIC is asking for a copy. If I send the the last original copy I have, I will just have a photocopy as a proof.

So you mean to say that by "Copy" they mean a legitimate/official copy of the result?

ello Please share your experience what happens i got LOA from manitoba and my file processed after 18 mnts. At the time when i submitted in june 2013 online in manitoba tool my ielts was valid and now i have expired ielts with 6.5 bands expired juz before 3 months my noc code 011 The code fall in Major management group (O group)

Had anyone been asked for the updated ielts or they have allowed you with old expired one

Waiting for the reply please help and share the experience which anyone have

NO need to send ILETS now, if you (having occupation O, A & B) are applying as PNP Nominee for PR to CIO through paper application WITHOUT express entry. It is requirement for C & D occupation if applying through paper application to CIO as per check list and experience from this forum....

Still you want to send it for your sanctification then send unvalid or valid IELTS to CIO.....OTHERWISE No need to submit......regards
