IELTS Result Delayed! Quality control!!

I was to get my IELTS result today, but instead received a mail from them stating it's still being processed and results are sometimes randomly analyzed after processing and hence you'll receive it after a week. They also mentioned you'd signed and accepted that results can sometimes get delayed more then the prescribed 13 day timeline. :

My wife who'd given the test along with me on 19th received her result though!!

How usual is this? Happened with anyone else here? Hope one week would be adhered to now as I am expecting the WES report by the same time and we have all other docs ready.

The same thing has happened with me..i received an email saying the results will be out by 8th august..and today 8th august i receive another email from IDP saying that it is delayed further and result will be available by 16th aug!!! what the hell!

Does same happen in British Council as well!? Future applicants, be aware!!

I want to complain against them, the IELTS exam fee is so much and such pathetic attitude, they are just causing our applications to be delayed.

Hey had u done anything specific in writing section,like taken an additional supplementary to write or something..i had done tht for my task 1, to re - write it properly.. M nt sure if tht has caused ths delay

1. Who you going to complain to? IDP or British Council
2. The reason for a review, is usually that they have a suspicion that someone has sent another person with their passport and ID to write the exam for them.

case here is different, most of the 19th July test takers results have been delayed... one IDP CC guy himself told me when I called for clarification, and I have heard from couple of more people.

I am sure they are not able to handle the rush!! That's it!! Quality control is just a cover up!!

This is unusual.

You can directly complain to Headoffice in United Kingdom British Council. They will be able to sort out this matter.

Don't get panic.....it happens.....this is procedure IDP and other follows to stop FRAUDS....Same case as VO do.........

I went through same phase earlier.....I was expecting my result on 30 th may but got it on 6th june....just mail them about date of result....they will reply it.....

Just got my result an hour back!! Didn't dispatch it yet though so they'll dispatch it on Saturday itself I guess!!
