IELTS requirement for 2013 ( Professional Immigration) new Law

Hi

I have a very basic question regarding IELTS requirement for Canadian Visa. Currently i am in US from last 1 yrs on H1b visa, Do i need to go for IELTS.

Can you guys provide me correct info regarding the same.

ielts is compulsory for everyone.. U need to take general test for immigration purpose. A score of minimum 6 in each section is a must.
