IELTS req. for University

which university is providing admission for overall band score 6.5 in IELTS.....but one band score of writing is 5.5 only....pls help me I want to apply for Jan intake....I gone through some university site they mentioned min. 6.5 band required not mentioned about individual bands....pls help me guys.....

If your over all grades are good university can overlook one score of less than 6...

thnks momi for your inf...some uni. shows exempt list for IELTS-India...that means they don't require English Language proficiency certificate is it....I have seen this in University of Alberta and MecGill...can you pls suggest your opinion

If u can provide a letter from the last institute attended that English is the Language of instruction the IELTS can be exempted but it depends on University...

you can get admission in thompson river uni and nortrh island uni with 6 bands

bhai 6 band pay some universities admission day reahe hen ab ye confirm nai konsi hen......nd 2nd without ielts koi b university admission nahe deti albata baaz universities nay optoin rakhty hoty hen without ielts k leay......jesy exempt countries/universites ki list hoti hy k ager ap is say qulified ho to without ielts admission lay skty ho baz A level O level basis pay or baz english proficiency letter base pay admission deti hen but bilkul IELTS waived wali 1 b university nahe hy.

its written in Indian visa office checklist that its strongly recommended your IELTS result card.....

Hay I drop mail to University of Manitoba they told that "We do not look at individual score, just overall score". So that means University mentioned 6.5 band score means they look only overall.....
