IELTS Overall Score- 7.0 Bands but 6.0 in Writing :( Enough? Please HELP!!!!

Hello Everyone,

I got my Academic IELTS result today. It is as follows:

Listening 7.50
Reading 7.50
Speaking 6.50
Writing 6.00
OverAllBandScore 7.00

I am disappointed with my Writing and Speaking scores as I was expecting at least 7 in each module.
Is my Writing Scores bad? I am worried about it Huh I want to apply for Study VISA.
Where my writing scores can harm? VISA ?

Your IELTS will not harm visa. IELTS has nothing to do with visa.

have u got admission to a college or university? i think most universities have a cutoff at 6.5 but not sure

Well, I don't think IELTS affects visa decision in any way! Unless there are visa categories require it! But from my personal experience I took IELTS because the university asked me to do so! And every university requires a minimum score (mostly 6.5 for undergraduates).

I am a software engineer with 2 yrs of work experience in Infosys.
I will apply for Information Systems Business Analysis course in George Brown College , Toronto for Jan,14 intake.

I am not able to find any good program related to my field in any college w.r.t. to Jan intake.
ISBA in GBC is a 1 year course. Dts y m worried abt VISA Acceptance. I am hoping to apply through SPP.

Can't apply in Universities due to financial docs problem required for VISA.
Dad's bank statements and ITR not that great. ???
Although i have a good enough profile, applying to University is like impossible for me.

I already got a scholarship ( master's winter 2014) at university of Quebec without IELTS & GRE. Because I have complete my bachelor (EEE) in English. i.e.. medium of instruction is in english. Please tell me is it necessary to give IELTS letter in the Embassy to get visa??

note: i got scholarship 16.5K and my tuition is 14.5K per year

I already got a scholarship ( master's winter 2014) at university of Quebec without IELTS & GRE. Because I have complete my bachelor (EEE) in English. i.e.. medium of instruction is in english. Please tell me is it necessary to give IELTS letter in the Embassy to get visa??

note: i got scholarship 16.5K and my tuition is 14.5K per year

It is not necessary to give IELTS paper and neither it is in the Checklist.

Can you please share your profile and procedure to apply for scholarship?

It is not necessary to give IELTS paper and neither it is in the Checklist.

For Financial support which is better, show my own bank account or my father bank account. My father is not Tax payer. So Please let me know the easy process of financial statements

Do yo wish to make tax papers and give tax? If you are no wishing to do this then you have to apply without it.
