I got the following scores. Do I qualify for FSW entry or have to give ielts again?
L=8.5, R=7.5,W=6.5, S=7.
Overall band score is 7.5
Experienced folks please guide.
More than enough , however if you need an additional of 50 points , you need at least 8 in listening and no less than 7 in each of the rest.
It was guaranteed for you except that in W = 6.5 :(

Can you please explain how much difference it makes if you get CLB = 9? What pursuaded you to give language exam multiple times? Can you explain to all of us? So that someone gets benefitted out of your experience.

I wanted to get 50 extras points for Canada Immigration by getting 7778 (SRWL)

Sheer Bad luck, is what I wud say..In my first attempt I got (SWLR 6.5, 7.0, 9.0, 8.5) and missed out by 0.5 in speaking..
For next several attempts, the same story repeated, everytime I missed out in only one module by 0.5, writing section is difficult. I once scored 8.5 in writing, and 6.5 in 3 other attempts. Last attempt I got 7.0 in writing but again missed out in one module, listening 7.5.

If I get 7778 this time, I wud be able to save OINP fees of 1500 CAD but moreover I wud be relieved of having cracked the exam.

Just had a word with BC India customer care representative...
She says results will be available post 12 only on website, they do not share it via sms or mail like IDP.
Man I hav given BC 2 times before, but cudnt remember this, as it was last year. Anyways, lets wait for 12pm.

LRWS 8.5, 9, 7, 8

Second attempt. I still loathe the Listening part ;D ;D ;D

This is my first and last!! It's an unreasonable test, more of a rocket science than English. I'm sure most evaluators/examiners of the British Council/IDP themselves wouldn't score a 9.

Have u got ur result ? was it IDP ?

I have achieved the following best scores in different attempts:
Listening: 9 band
Reading: 9 band
Writing: 8.5 Band
Speaking: 7.5 Band

I have seen people getting 8.5 in speaking also. So 9 band is achievable in LR while 8.5 is max for SW.

L8.5, R8, W6.5, S7 3rd attempt, 3rd time missed clb9 because writing. Gonna stop trying and concentrate in OINP, probably wait to see it the ITA's reach 400 first.

Can I create a profile at least? I don't know about selection, I just want to give it a shot..if I get it, Ok, If I don't...God Knows I tried...
BTW my results came as an SMS on my registered mobile number. It says indicative IELTS score...I guess indicative must be same as Final or does it ever vary? Can SMS be trusted or only TRF? :'(
