IELTS Compulsory when having UK Master degree?

Can you please advise if IELTS is compulsory, as my husband holds a MS degree from UK and during that time he had cleared IELTS to get into UK University

Yes it is compulsory;. he must take the IELTS general test, in order to create his express entry profile

It is compulsory if your husband is the main applicant. Not compulsory if he is dependent, but you would not be able to claim "language" points for him.
