IELTS and Academic Documents

Hello guys,
I have applied for study permit and I didn't attach my IELTS certificate and academic documents with my application because they were not listed in the required checklist. Are they a necessary part of the application? and if yes, then can you please tell me, how can I send those documents now? case specific enquiry?

Did you apply online or paper based?
As far as I know, the IELTS and other academic documents are only required by the institution in which you are going to study and does not effect your study permit on a serious level as the Visa officer is only going to make his/her decision on the circumstances of your life in your country and what will they be If you are allowed to come to Canada.

But I have read in some of the threads where some people have mentioned that they sent their IELTS certificate and academic documents along with their application and that's why I'm a lil worried because I've all these documents with me and still I couldn't attach them with the application

In your GCKey Account (Online Account) you can attach these documents in your letter of explanation (Last one) option where you can convert your letter from word to PDF format and scan these files (IELTS + Academic Documents) as PDF files as well and merge these two files to create a single PDF and upload in your account. It will clear your letter of explanation as well. I am going for January Intake, my SEP 2016 Intake visa was refused and I am going to take this approach to send my documents to embassy as I told you above.

I've actually already sent my online application. I applied on August 26. Can you please share with me the reason for your refusal for the sep intake? on what grounds your visa was refused?

My study permit was refused due to the following reasons
1- Travel History
2- I do not show the sufficient funds to support my study during my stay in Canada without working
3- Visa officer was not satisfied that I will leave Canada at the end of my studies due to the family ties in my home country.

where and when did you apply? and what was the approximate time in which you got the final decision on your application?

I applied on 25th of June 2016 Online and gave my biometrics on 27th of June 2017 and my visa decision was finalized on 9th of August 2016 and I received the refusal letter on 10th of August 2016. I gave my biometrics at VFS (Visa office) of Lahore.

And what about the medical? I have applied online on August 26 with upfront medical and I gave my biometrics at VFS lahore on Sep 12. But so far nothing has changed in my account. Everything is still the same as it was on August 26

Last time I got the help of the consultant for my application and he advised me to get it at the end (If the embassy asks) so I did not apply with upfront medical. Can you tell me where should I also have my medical done before the submission of the visa application and for how long that upfront medical will be considered valid. and also how much it costs?

You just need to visit IOM lahore center for your medical. They will take some tests and provide you with a emedical information sheet. You have to upload this sheet with your online application. I did my medical on August 18 and the fee was 10,080 Pkr. It is valid for 12 months

if you got admission on the basis of Ielts and academic docs and you mentioned your ielts score and previous education history in your application form, then you should submit them and they may ask for original at interview.

You just need to visit IOM lahore center for your medical. They will take some tests and provide you with a emedical information sheet. You have to upload this sheet with your online application. I did my medical on August 18 and the fee was 10,080 Pkr. It is valid for 12 months

Yes I got admission on the basis of my IELTS and academic history but in the study permit application, they have just asked for my most recent education details (no GPA/Marks were asked) and they have only asked if I have taken any English language test (again no score was asked) so I didn't attach them with my application because in the checklist there was no option to attach these documents with the online application

when you start your online application, you first have to go through an eligibility test. You need to answer different questions. One of the questions is related to medical that whether you have gone through a medical exams or not. if your answer is YES then a medical information sheet option will be included in your checklist.
