when you start your online application, you first have to go through an eligibility test. You need to answer different questions. One of the questions is related to medical that whether you have gone through a medical exams or not. if your answer is YES then a medical information sheet option will be included in your checklist.

You just need to visit IOM lahore center for your medical. They will take some tests and provide you with a emedical information sheet. You have to upload this sheet with your online application. I did my medical on August 18 and the fee was 10,080 Pkr. It is valid for 12 months

1. do i have to take appointment for upfront medical?
2. I am applying for PhD. what are my chances of getting visa if I got admission? I also want to bring my family as dependents with me( my husband and three kids)

1. Yes you need to take an appointment for an upfront medical. The contact number is (051) 111 466 472. Just call on that number and they will give you a specific date and time at which you've to visit the IOM center for your medical.
2. Since you're applying for a PhD so your chances are good but still a lot depends on how you present your case to the visa officer. But first of all you need to apply for admission and get the offer letter because you can't make a visa application without the offer letter.
