ANd as you have been told a zillion and one times, you are NOT WORKING LEGALLY. You should not be working. You do NOT have implied status. Stop telling people it's fine. You can see from the emails received on PAge 6 of this thread that participants in the IEC program do not qualify for implied status... but telling you this is like beating a dead horse, so whatever.Jamesdavid3 said:I was on the IEC visa (2 years) and I am still working on Implied Status....
Did you see the email which was above that one, it didn't state anything about that in that message who was sent to that person.screech339 said:JamesDavid has been "out of status" since his application got returned. So he cannot have any "implied status" at all. He is waiting for his status to be restored if granted. We all know that one cannot work or study during "status of restoration" processing until visa has been restored.
Let me ask you a yes or no question. Did you or did you not apply for "status of restoration"?Jamesdavid3 said:Did you see the email which was above that one, it didn't state anything about that in that message who was sent to that person.
It seems you are all FEEDING off this 1 email which was sent to 1 person, we don't even know if its even legitimate or not.
I have been sent messages from the CIC and they know I was on the IEC VISA and continued to work on Implied Status and they have said nothing to me, I know several other people who have done the same and I have many more who has already been processed. Its common sense to continue working, what does the CIC expect? For me not to work for 15+ months WHILE MY APPLICATION IS BEING PROCESSED? think....!
CIC is not going to care that you "cannot sit on your arse" for 15+ months while waiting for PR for an excuse to continue working illegally. That is your problem not theirs. You could have easily ask your employer to apply for LMO but you didn't.Jamesdavid3 said:Its common sense to continue working, what does the CIC expect? Ok So after around 60 days with no AOR my application was returned to my Lawyer as The Spouse/Common-Law Questionaire IMM5285 (08-2013) was outdated. I think I must have submitted the one before that as my application did take months to finally submit, So my Lawyer didn't check, So I have lost around 2 or 3 months of waiting....... :'( :'( :'(
I have to also submit a Restoration of my Status form
I paid $700 for my Application and Work Permit when I sent my application off which was the correct amount at the time.
They are stating at the bottom of the first page that I have to pay an additional $5.00 for my Work permit as the prices has increased which is understandable.
$200 for my Restoration status and then they said the total amount is $355.00.....Do the math, $5.00+$200 is $205 not $355.......wtf. So I have only paid them $205.
I attached the pages so you can all have a look if needed in case this happens to anyone else.
Jamesdavid3 said:I should have already had Implied Status as I submitted this application before my old IEC visa expired.
But since Technically they didn't start processing my application because they found 1 form was out of date they didn't start process me, So I guess which is why I had to submit this Restoration status form

I never got anything back from them since I submitted it.screech339 said:Jamesdavid
I find it very curious that you never posted anything regarding your restoration of status since it has been more than 90 days after you submitted for it. You were suppose to get an response by June or July at the latest. I will assume you got your status restored as "VISITOR VISA" and you don't want to post it on the forum.
It is very strange that it took them that long. Sorry about that. But since you replied back saying you haven't heard from them on the issue, it means you admit you applied for "restoration of status".Jamesdavid3 said:I never got anything back from them since I submitted it.
SchnookoLoly Very immature with that comment, almost like bullying, I hope you feel good about yourself.SchnookoLoly said:HAHAHAHA. Right.
