ICT WP Visa Vs Tourist Visa

Hi Friends,

I have ICT WP Visa valid till 2018. Now I want to travel to Canada as personal visit since my family is staying there. Can I use my WP Visa to travel for personal purpose or I need to have separate Tourist Visa to travel personally?

I have ICT WP Visa valid till 2018.

There is no such thing as a ICT WP Visa.... in fact permit and visas are mutually exclusive.

Take a look into your passport, the TRV sticker there should have a "category" value. What does it say?

You have Work permit but you still need Visa to enter Canada. Ideally If you were to travel based on your WP, you could have applied Visa based on that work permit document. Since its a personal visit, You can apply for a Visitor Visa.
