I also have similar location and as per my observation, British Columbia applications are taking time.
I know atleast 3-4 applications for same location in similar situation like us.
Dont set any expectations. You will get more frustration. Hope it comes in some time.
Don't loose hope at the same time Don't put pressure on yourself.
For Vancouver BC One candidate who did biometric on 31st August has got ppr and after that I expect some response this week

Be positive.. We don't know how exactly they process applications. Also, response time may vary from application to application as each one is different. Hence please don't compare your processing time with others.

My friend received mail around 2 AM IST, while I received around 9 PM IST. You can expect email during Canada business hours

I am a postdoc applied on 26 april. Its LMIA exempt, qualifies for GSS and has priority due to employment in academic. I was expecting to get result in 2 weeks but it is now more than 5 months.
There is nothing we can do. Even certain things are beyond the control of visa officers as it involves background, criminality checks/investigations including info-sharing with 5-eyes network.
Visa/work permit cannot be issued untill these mandatory checks are completed. Who knows if my application is in pending due to info-sharing with New zealand where I never applied or visited.
Me, my employer and visa officer handling my file has nothing to do with it , but again I still have to wait
In my case its been more than 11 weeks , i completed my biometrics on 23rd July and submitted application on 20th June. Its for ICT Visa category but they gave me NOC 2283 which is not coming under GSS. Is there anyone who have received PPR within 10-15 weeks. How many weeks generally its taking for those who are not eligible under GSS?

At that time processing time was 17-18 weeks
Weeks since AOR : 23 Weeks
Weeks Since Biometrics : 14 Weeks
Current Processing Time : 30 Weeks

Its been 11 weeks after Biometric and still i am waiting for PPR. Dont worry, it will come.
