Have you changed a lot of companies in short span of times & Canada compensation is less than 100K ?Hi All,
My employer filed an ICT GSS LMIA-exempt WP with below timelines:
My Location : Pune, India
Upfront Medical - 17th Aug, 2021
Application submitted - 18th Aug, 2021
Biometrics Instruction Letter - 18th Aug, 2021
Biometrics completed - 1st September
Medical Passed - 8th September
Now I was waiting for PPR like you all and was expecting it this week as per the 4 weeks +/- 2 days timeline currently going on for most of the PPR holders
But today, i received a mail from my Attorney with an Additional document request letter by IRCC dated 26th September 2021 and they informed me today i.e. 30th September, 4 days later.
The letter asks for relieving and appointment letters for previous and current employers, pay stubs, form-16 which is fine. But it also mentions "Letters of reference must outline the duration and specific nature of employment, including exact duties on the job.":
So my questions are:
1. Has anyone else got this? Does this mean now they'll delay the approval?
2. None of the letters I have, mentions exact duties on the job, though other things are there in job offer and experience letter. Does this mean I'll have to obtain a Letter of reference separately from my previous and current employer?
Please reply if any one else has similar experience and what they did, I am now really worried as its not possible to get reference letters from all the employers.
Thanks in advance.
Not much, this is my 3rd company in 7 years and I have spent 2+ years with all employers. Compensation is around 90k.Have you changed a lot of companies in short span of times & Canada compensation is less than 100K ?
Our Attorney asked us to provide this upfront. Not much, this is my 3rd company in 7 years and I have spent 2+ years with all employers. Compensation is around 90k.
Do you guys have exact duties performed in your offer or experience letters? or Did your attorney ask for it while applying?
I see. In that case you would have provided your regular experience and offer letters right? Or you explicitly obtained a letter of reference from your employers? Our Attorney asked us to provide this upfront.
Current employer roles and responsibilities. A separate documentI see. In that case you would have provided your regular experience and offer letters right? Or you explicitly obtained a letter of reference from your employers?
In my case, they didn't ask for a single document of previous employers, only the current employer's paystubs and latest ITR.
Ya that one too. What did they ask for previous employers in your case? If applicable.Current employer roles and responsibilities. A separate document
They didn't ask us for previous employer, only current employer under which ICT is applicableYa that one too. What did they ask for previous employers in your case? If applicable.
It is single letter with details of your roles and responsibilities along with compensation at the time of leaving, you have to get it from previous employers.I see. Ohk, have you also obtained and submitted these letters while filing your application? For previous employers? It is single letter with details of your roles and responsibilities along with compensation at the time of leaving, you have to get it from previous employers. Usually you get it easily.
No its a mid-size product based company. Is your employer a large service based company ?
I had heard that service based companies can have some hiccups in terms of documents because they sponsor so may ICTs . considering yours is small product based company, I think the reason might be that your company is too small and may be has no/of very less track record of sponsoring ICTs.No its a mid-size product based company.
