also do they usually refuse without a medical Update or their are instances where application is refused after passing medicals ..

Unfortunately, it is not true that medical passed is application approved as application approval depends on all the documents we submit and medical is a part of it. Application can be rejected at any stage. In my case, all stages were seen in progress till counterfoil generation. After counterfoil generation, my passport got stamped all stages were updated to completed status and final decision was approved. Not sure if others have same experience.
But don't worry, everything is positive until and unless you see rejection:)

Hey new here,
Applied through a lawyer hence am just following up on the timelines.

Type: GSS ICT LMIA-required under GTS
Date of Application: 8th Sept 2021
Medical: Upfront (17 Aug)
Biometric: Valid from prev visit. (Got updated on 8th September itself on the portal)
Medicals Passed: (Yet to ask if passed on portal)
PPR: Awaiting.
2173 ( Software Developer)

Any idea on when I can expect PPR ? and what's the current timeline on passport stamping after passport pickup ?

I don't think so. Atleast not for GSS. I also couldn't do upfront medical before file submission as there were no appointments available. I did it after file submission. Got ppr 15 days after submitting biometrics. My timeline, FYI.
Application - 26 July
Medicals - 9 Aug
Biometrics - 23 Aug
PPR - 9 Sep

I had similar timeline, but no updates yet

Application submitted -9th June
Medical completed -16 July
Biometric completed -19 July
There are 2 applications one for me and other for my wife(open work permit)..

Only details I have is -application is filed under GSS and Medical cleared.. but not updates after that.

Even on IRCC portal it's showing that they are processing applications received after 13th June.. not sure what patter these guys are following.

There is a place to write a message, you write your message to know what is going through your application and in your message you can also ask the place your application is processed. You should get a reply in just few days.

Tried the same. But got a generic reply.
