ICFAI - Unable to find in WES

I have done my MBA from ICFAI and i am unable to search it in WES. Someone please help.

Unfortunately that probably means that your University isn't recognized by WES. Try searching for the University by expanding the initials just in case that's how WES registers it.

Hi ABhardwaj , even am also worried. i did MBA from ICFAI university Dehradun ( IBS Bangalore ) and cannot find in evaluation tool.

What shall we do now..

I too did my MBA from ICFAI , full time. I got my credentials evaluated by WES. Even though ICFAI is not in the list , in my report Institution status is" Recognized " and Canadian Equivalency is " Master's Degree".

ICFAI, isn't a recognized institution. Even 3 year MCA and other 2 year MBA or Masters programs from India are considered only as equivalent to an additional one year program with the 3 year Indian Bachelors Degree. But yes there are changes happening now, the Indian member in WES is actively supporting Corporate funded Private Universities.[Bribery I guess] The person is very vocal about Symbiosis through his blogs and it is given a recognized status. People can post their received WES Results,with a little MS Paint work for keeping the privacy, but none does.

Not only ICFAI, people who have taken degrees from Karunya University, Lovely Professional University, VIT University - None is approved.

I have completed my MBA from IBS hyderabad. My consultancy (through which i am applying for my Canadian PR) is suggesting that i submit only my Bachelor's degree & NOT IBS hyderabad degree as IBS hyderabad is not recognised according to them. Please advise.

Did from IBS Mumbai.. Got evaluated as Canadian Masters..you are good to go...from the suggestion what your consultancy is giving I feel they are complete idiot..way better you don't waste your money with the consultants and fill the application on your own..

I have done 3 Year partime MBA from ICFAI,mumbai. I also had the same doubt as the university is not listed as recognised. However I have still received the ECA evaluation and is equivalent to Masters degree.

ICFAI is recognised, you can reach their hyderabad office,email certification@ibsindia.org for further details.

even if score doesn't drop I think u can try for provincial nomination route with that score

Hi, I am applying for a Canada PR. I have completed my BBA through distance learning through ICFAI, Dehradun. I wanted to understand if it will be recognized by WES since ICFAI is not listed on their website. I understand that some of you have got a 'Recognized' back from WES for your MBA from ICFAI, Dehradun (both full-time and part-time); however, I wanted to know if the same is applicable for a Bachelor's degree.
