Hi,
I am new to this forum and this is my first question. Not sure if there was anything already posted earlier but I didnt find anything.

1. I was in Canada for 2 years on Work Permit.
2. I am a Indian national. I am back to India for 1 year now.
3. My daughter was born there and she is a Canadian Citizen.
4. I want to settle in Canada now.

Please guide me what are the options available in this case? Is there any privilege which the parents get if their child is a citizen of Canada?

Hi

What was your status while you were in Canada?

Having a Canadian child does nothing to help you get into Canada. You must qualify on your own merits.

so, does that mean that the better option would have been if I would have applied during my stay in Canada, after 22 months were over??

If you accumulated 12 months of high skilled work (NOC 0, A or B) within the last 36 months before an application is made, then you could be eligible to apply under the Canadian Experience Class. You can apply whether you're inside or outside Canada.
