I want to travel without my dependents. Will there be any problems getting them later?

i think it called misrepresentation and i believe he wont be able to sponsor them if u are married and u want them to come u should mention them and not hidding them then after u get the residence u say i want theme to come .
You are getting me wrong. Misrepresentation is if I am hiding my marital status. Here I am not hiding my marital status so it is not misrepresentation.

To clarify my question, I want to declare my dependents as non-accompanying in the application. I have got my queries answered now by santhkum90. The reason I want to do is because it costs less and it will be much easy for me to find a job and settle down here rather than bringing my dependents along to a new land and culture. The answers here show that it is not that good an idea.
You need to understand that it will likely take about a year to sponsor your family. During that time, you MUST be residing in Canada. There is little chance of your family being approved for TRVs. You can take a few short visits, i.e. a few weeks a few times a year, but anything more risks the PR app.

If you are prepared to be separated for a year, then you can do it your way. However, it would be far simpler to include them as accompanying now and have them land and return to your country to wait while you settle down here.

No it is by no way misrepresentation. You are free to declare your dependents as non-accompanying and later on can apply to sponsor for them. There is nothing wrong in that, except it is a long process.
