wanna know more about inland spousal application
Hi Everyone, Hope you all gonna help me, Guys my inland spousal application received by CIC Vegreville on Aug,02/13 And i received AOR on Aug,22/13.
i have few quick question here hope you all guys gonna help me out here..
1...My lawyer told me i will received my first stage approval (AIP) with in 7 months after receiving AOR ,I just wanna know is that true ??
2...My lawyer told me processing time shown in the CIC sites is not accurate or actual time for processing application And he added many people receiving their AIP WITH IN 6 MONTHS, I just wanna know is that true???
3...My lawyer told me Fully Completed Application with strong proof not gonna take more than 12 months for 1st and 2nd stage ...I just wanna know is that true ??
4...Is there any chance of rejection after receiving first stage approval(AIP)
IF YES THEN MAY I KNOW WHAT REASON'S CAUSE APPLICATION REJECTION??
5...Is there any interview required in inland spousal application ??
PLEASE HELP ME OUT GUYS ...THANKS AND HAVE A GREAT DAY AHEAD

Wow. Your lawyer sounds really smart.

NOBODY, not even a smart lawyer can predict ANYTHING regarding a timeline for an Inland application.

Based on what the majority of people here have stated:

AIP currently takes approximately 11 months (but the estimated time for AIP was probably different in August of this year).

Chance of rejection after AIP?
Absolutely. That's why it's called Approval In Principle.
What could cause a rejection?
Non-genuine relationship, in the eyes of the VO working on your application, criminal/security issues that were not disclosed, any number of `possibilities'.

lastly, yes, there are Inland interviews for some applicants.

you can - you don't even have to withdraw your inland application - you could have both running at the same time and see which one arrives first depending on where your VO is, it might be quicker to go for outland. It would mean paying fee for both of course, but it's up to you.
However, there is no implied status for outland application - so depending on your current status in Canada, you might need to keep your inland application on-going to be able to stay legally in Canada.

thanks a lot sweden ...but some people told me i have to wait till CIC return my first inland application kit ...then after that only i can apply for new outland application , is that true ??one more thing Is my application gonna have bad effect if i continue with both inland and outland applications?? please advise ....thanks a lot
