Hi Billy: It sounds like you may have joined a growing number whose applications have been lost. Have you had proof of fees being cashed yet? Call CIO again and ask for information. Have all your receipt details available. IF CIO says they have lost your application ask their advice what you should do. They keep a list of all returned applications, so ask them to check that. Some people have not had their packages back for 3 months from the date of return. Get the name and ID number of the person. They will probably tell you you have to reapply. If your app has been lost, ask if you can send copies of IELTS and reference letters. Send identical copy of your first application with cover letter outlining advice and name of person at CIO as well as copy of your delivery receipt. DO TRY TO GET as many original ref letters as you can. Apparently, IELTS will send another original if you request it to be sent to a business address (do you know someone it could be sent to as they will not send it to a residence.) I hope all will turn out OK with your second call to CIO. I will be interested to hear how you get on. (We were in the same boat as our friend's app was lost by CIO and he had to reapply.) Good Luck.
