I recieved a weird email from cic

I have received an email today titled We're still working on your application.

I can't log to check as it keeps kicking me out. But in general it's nice to see that they are working on my application but the question is which one?
I have only recently applied for citizenship

Can you check the exact email id that sent this mail? May be fake. By looking display name it shows cic.gc.ca. but email id can be different that display name.

Can't speak for its legitimacy but make sure to check what email is sending you this message. It says "donotreply@cic.gc.ca" but they may have just put that in the name, it might not be the actual email. Just make sure to double check.

Lol, just got the same email. I was about to make a thread about it. I have to admit, it was nice to get an acknowledgement that it was not lost in a black hole.

Got the same email. It's already 2 years as a I'm a permanent resident. I logged into my account there are no messages.

Thanks for the warning, I didn't follow any link. I believe that it is a glitch as their system was down today.

Mine too. I was trying to login last night and this morning, but couldn’t get in. There is a warning that there was a security breech, so they might have throttled traffic on the site while they do their security checks.
