I need to relocate to another province with the same employer on a closed work permit

I recently received a LMIA exempt closed work permit from Nova scotia. My company is currently in Halifax and I am currently WFH in Halifax.
My company now wants me to move to Toronto as per business requirement.

1. Can I continue to work from Toronto on the same work permit. Did anyone had this scenario previously.
2. When I apply for PR, can I apply from Nova Scotia or Ontario or Both.
3. Can I apply for PNP's of Ontario or Nova Scotia.

Check the conditions on your work permit. Sometimes one cannot work anywhere other than designated employer and workplace.

Please check with your employer's attorneys they are the best folks to answer your question. In my company they never let us work remote from a different province

Agreed, moreover closed work permit have conditions. Employers just need work, they are least worried about an employee's status, so one have to take steps on their own and decide accordingly.

The Work permit has a condition "Not Authorized to work in any location other than stated". Since I am working remotely, how does this matter.

There is also a contradictory Remark- "Authorized to work at Company and Client Sites across Canada."

My employer's WPs does not have "Authorized to work at Company and Client Sites across Canada." If yours has it please check with your company immigration team or Attorney.

I had identical situation. My ICT LMIA exempt closed WP was for Vancouver and my employer needed me in Victoria. So.

1. You need a new WP. I had to get a new WP. Just check the conditions on your WP. If it mentions that you can only work in XYZ (city or province), then you can only work from there.
2. You can apply for PR from anywhere but I guess you meant something more? If you apply under CEC, both work exp will count.
3. If you qualify, you can. If condition of PNP is only X number of years, you can apply from that province. If it is a job offer then you need to get written one from your employer.

The remark is not really contradictory.

"Authorized to work at Le Company and Client Sites across Canada." mean you can work at Le Company anywhere in Canada.
"Not Authorized to work in any location other than stated" amount to null because allowed locations are entire Canada.

I did NOT have "Authorized to work at Le Company and Client Sites across Canada" on my WP.

"Not Authorized to work in any location other than stated" is redundant but not contradictory.

For more clarification ask a RCIC or Lawyer (in company perhaps?).

If you could work remotely then you could technically work in your home country. Your employer has to justify why they need someone working for them in Canada and specified at their offices.

Point 3. My work permit is from NS Province,if I move residence to Ontario, will I still be eligible to apply for NS PNP

Since I am WFH in another province is that ok, or will it be more helpful I work from office in the other province

As said the best person to answer that is your company immigration attorney as you working remotely from a different province which might affect the employer also, they might have to give you a second WP for this remote location also sometimes.

WPs don’t care whether working from a location is more accessible to North America. You need to speak to your employer and their lawyer.
