Here is my list of documents that I have ready to send to my sponsor. (I'm 22,from Estonia, married to Canadian boy, who is sponsoring me. No kids or previous marriages)

Maybe there is something missing?

1) Birth certificate - officially translated, notarized, legalised in Estonian foreign embassy and validated in Canadian embassy.
2) Police certificate - officially translated, notarizes, legalised in Estonian foreign embassy and validated in Canadian embassy.(added original document too)
3) Marriage certificate - it was already in English, as it was made in Canada.
4) Medical examination proof
5)Passport copy
6)Proof of relationship - I added lot of photos (245) in different envelopes of us. me in Canada and Thomas in Estonia e.t.c.. E-mails too and messenger talks. Airline tickets and more small things that can be useful.

And 4 immigration forms. I left use of representative out, as we don´t have it. And I have extra pages for longer answers as well.

I got a e-mail from Poland office, that I don't need to send proof of studies and a workbook.

I think I have everything that is needed, but one girl from Estonia had one more document translated and legalized than me, and she can´t remember what it was. She did it 2 years ago.

Maybe you can point out something missing??

(My husband will add his application and things he needs to add, plus he will pay the fees and add a paper to proof of paying.)

Thank you very much for your time!

Hi Simpson,

I can relate to you panic. I don't know what this other item would be as it seems like you have everthing. What you need to do is go down the check list that you get with you application and read each item carefully....I mean read it carefully and out the documents in the order of the checklist.

Providing you have everything that is on the checklist you have nothing to be worried about. I went over my checklist over and over and made sure it matched the checklist from CIC website and I think we are fine.

Good luck...

Also, maybe you don't want to hear this but 245 photos seems like a lot...I would send maximum 80..... send some greeting cards.

Heh. I know someone who sent 600+ photos. lol. But yes, 245 photos seems a lot to me as well. I sent some 60 I think and it was enough. You have to take into account that going over your evidence will take up precious IO's time and so it's better to supply reasonable amounts of everything. Like, don't include 600 pages of chat logs, only sent a couple examples of the chats and so on.

It really doesn't seem like you're missing anything to me. Was the other girl married in Estonia? Maybe it was the marriage certificate that she had to have translated and so on. Or maybe she also included the proof of studies or something else you already know you don't need. Maybe a copy of her ID?
Your list seems to cover everything to me, I'm sure you've nothing to worry about. Worst case scenario is they'll contact you and ask you to send in whatever you missed.

I know the feeling, but try to take a deep breath and relax. You've already got a lot of work done, take a moment to compose yourself. And good luck with the processing!

Yes she was married in Estonia. So at first I thought the 5 were: marriage certificate, birth certificate, criminal certificate, workbook and doctors certificate. but then I realized that doctors paper goes straight to the visa office and the document I have to add I don't have to translate or legalize. So that 5th one is still open in the air.... Luckily I don´t have to translate my workbook as its not used in Estonia any more.

one more question. details of family members? Do I leave it blank or do I write Not Applicable inside of every line? (as I am the only one immigrating) Can it be N/A, or do Ihave to write it out as Not Applicable?

thank you everyone!!...so much

Do not leave anything blank. Write "Not Applicable" or "N/A" or just cross it out. Whichever works for you.
The point is that if you leave it blank, CIC can return the application to you saying one of the forms was incomplete. It doesn't really matter what you put in it, as long as it's clear it doesn't apply to you and ishows that t's not a field or section you accidentally missed.

Form nr. 0008 E GENERIC. Its about details of family members.

I am really sad at the moment. I got everything done. Just changing my last name in Estonia was the last thing - new passport and then doctors check. I had appointment next week. And the name change lady said that it takes 1-2 months to overview name changes by our minister. Boo :(. I did everything else so quickly and now that :(.
