Hi all:

For your guys information, the FOIA can be really fast now.

My Timeline:

Date Submitted : 06/03/2014
Date Received : 06/09/2014

It took me less than a week to receive the record by email, not what it used to be (1 year???)

the URL is https://foiaonline.regulations.gov/foia/action/public/request/publicPreCreate
Why would one need this document when applying for citizenship?

To confirm/prove entries to the US where you don't have stamps in your passport. I think I've seen some people mention they've used it during interview or had it requested in RQ. However, as also mentioned in this thread you can now get US entry/exit record immediately online at:

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

Some people have mentioned the data here isn't as accurate as in the FOIA request, but my report correctly shows all my entries. The exit data howevet is junk as it depends on if and when you hand in your I94 for land crossings.

I have a valid multiple US visa since 2008 for 10 years. I have been to US only once( for 8 days) in the same year i.e. 2008 and never went to US after that time.

I have been to https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html but it says they have record for only last five years. My visit is prior to that.

Should I put the FOIA report? Just to show that I have never been to US after 2008.

Only if they request it...

interesting, i'll try this one as well as my travel history on "https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home" is incomplete. Did they charge you fees by the way?

Usually they don't charge any fee. Make sure you create an account. Do not continue as guest else you won't receive the report.

here is the link:

https://foiaonline.regulations.gov/foia/action/public/request/publicPreCreate

It can take 1 week to 1 month usually and for some people it took many months.
