You can try. It might still be returned as incomplete.

If it is returned as "incomplete", do I need to submit only the form or have to start from the scrath?
If it is returned, you have to re-submit everything (re-sign all documents that require signature and date)
You don't have to pay again though.

By the time when I re apply, what if my PCC and medicals expired ??

Yes, already done with Medicals and submitted, even before its requested from IRCC.
The instructions say not to do this. So, whatever.

Seems misuse of time to do upfront medicals (contrary to instructions) and not spend the time filling out the forms properly.

What do you mean? I see most of them do beforehand even if not requested! Nothing is misuse of time.
Filling forms, sometimes obviously mistakes happens

Indeed ! saves a lot of time
As far as I can tell, they don't look at the medical results until right toward the end of the process.

And since against the instructions, they don't even have to accept it.

Meanwhile, anyone whose approval comes near the 12-month validity of the medicals likely has to re-do.

So I doubt it.

But whatever.

Are you talking about family sponsorship??! I see a lot of OTHER applications doing Medical before sending in application. But NOT family sponsorship.

I see. It's adding spouse while PR is in progress
You are asking the question in the wrong section of this forum. That's why you are getting reply that applies to family sponsorship. (i.e. you are ALREADY PR or citizen of Canada and you want to sponsor a spouse)

The process is very different. Find the section under your current PR application route (EE, PNP....etc) and post your question there.
